Customer Interviews No. 3
1. I asked various college students simply what their reaction was to my business idea. My notecard described that the Gator Good Grocery truck would have a route around campus a few times a week and students could get onto the truck to shop. I decided to only ask them this so that there was no chance of influence in any of my questions.

3. I really liked hearing from a girl Katie in the blue sweatshirt. She was honest and very helpful. She said that there may be a limited variety on the bus which is very true. The size of the bus does limit what can be stored and sold through this method, so I think I would focus the selection of groceries to be more necessities and things people use daily rather than miscellaneous food and items.

Yo Emily. The Gator Good, clever, but I think that name might be taken by something else. I would love for this idea to come to fruition. I live off campus without a car so I usually have to wait till my roommate goes, which can be kind of frustrating. However, this Gator Good truck would have to be pretty big to satisfy all of its customers and out-compete the POD's. Here's my blog http://joebestblog.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteI think this is a very interesting and unique concept. Like everyone mentioned in your videos, this will make it very convienent for others to get their groceries. Especially considering that a good amount of students don't have their own car as personal transportation. The downside to this idea is that you are very limited on the amount of food you can bring with you in the truck. I also feel like since a lot of students would want to get their food this way, there's a possibility of having long lines
ReplyDeleteEmily,
ReplyDeleteI really like your idea. I think convenience and transportation are such large issues for students on campus and having a truck with groceries available would likely be something many students would be interested in. I also wrote about something similar, a ride sharing service for students.
