My Exit Strategy

I think I would eventually sell this business. I would not want to keep it in my family because I'm not sure I would want to stay in the Gainesville area. I would hope to sell this business to someone outside of my family and immediate connections for a large return, and therefore, leave the Gainesville area.
I think that this will give me the most return and will allow the business to continue to grow, thrive, and expand elsewhere if circumstance allows.
I think this exit strategy influences how my resources are acquired and used. Furthermore, I believe that this also influences what I believe comes next for my business. My hopes of expanding to non-GMO and organic products and then expanding to a larger target market (outside of just students) would be all the more possible after the business is sold.

  1. Hey Emily,
Great job, I also choose to sell my business. We college students don't like to get bogged down for too long on a project. Lets sell and make money. One suggestion would be to briefly describe what your company is so I know why you're selling it. Here is a link to my post on this: http://kevinleddysblog.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html

  2. Hello there Emily! Great job on this assignment!
I can see your point in your exit strategy, most people don't want to stay in their college town for too long, specially after we graduate and hopefully get a job. In my case, I would want to sell my business because my end goal requires a whole lot of money, and expanding to more profitable markets and areas is necessary. If you are ever bored, you can read my post! (there is a funny picture of Elon Musk on it) http://gcwindow.blogspot.com/2016/04/my-exit-strategy.html
    Take care.
